running dvd vista setup

Hello,
I have a problem with running the setup of windows vista beta. My windows XP Prof doesn't recognize the dvd I burned (with everything on it) as a dvd. More as something undef. If I want to run setup.exe the irritating message shows: This is not a Win32 application.
What to do?

You cannot install 64bit Vista in XP 32bit and visa-versa. -- AMD-FX-60 2gb OCZ Plat. memory ATI 1800 AIW 2x74gb Raptors in RAID-0 2x400gb WD HDD in RAID-1 Epox Nvidia-4 Ultra M/B
